The Transcorp Commitment

At Transcorp we pride ourselves on the fairness of our approach to business. We know our care & commitment to quality make us the natural choice for any broker looking for fast, responsive results and very competitive premiums.

Australian Security

Your peace of mind is vitally important to us; therefore our Insurers, Lloyds, are Australian Registered General Insurers, supervised by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA). Just go to `Links’, Lloyds in Australia.

A dedication to service

We understand that you need rapid responses and fast turnaround of paperwork, so we have made a strong commitment to the use of the latest technology and systems, and professional staff to provide you with service that we believe is second to none – and far better than most.

Rapid, Local, Australia Wide claim service

Transcorp staff process and pay all claims, so you get the Transcorp commitment to industry leading service and ready access to the decision makers. Our claims service is available Australia Wide through our national network of approved, Independent Loss Assessors.
We don’t send you staff assessors who get their salary from us, raising the possibility that their main aim is cost cutting rather than fair settlement and quality repair work.

Transcorp Assist

If the accident occurs outside business hours of 8.30 am to 4 pm, the driver (or other person) simply calls the freecall number 1300 247 277 (1300 24 7 ASSIST) and speaks to our national call centre. During business hours you call our claims department on 07 3503 3100.

No Declarations for many clients

Transcorp insures clients with up to 10 trucks on the basis of the number of trucks – not Gross Freight Earnings (GFE). This means we don’t need declarations of GFE and, if the trucks are insured with us, no declaration of the GFE or the number of trucks on renewal.

No annual premium adjustment for many clients

Transcorp allows a free Rise and Fall margin of 2 trucks or 10% of GFE in any policy year. If clients have only increased their business by up to 2 trucks or 10% of GFE, we do not charge a premium adjustment for that year.

Premiums Payable by the Month

If you wish, we can package all your premiums and let you pay them by the month.

One Policy for all clients

At Transcorp, we have designed a policy wording and systems that are flexible enough to be tailored to each client’s specific needs. Even if the client insures a mix of their Own Goods and Other Persons Goods, we will only issue a single policy document. Other insurers make you take out two separate policies. This gives you convenience, simplicity and cost savings.

Automatic Australia Wide Cover and Discounts for Radius Limits

Transcorp offers substantial discounts for insured’s who travel within certain radii, but we still give you full cover even if the accident occurs outside the nominated radius, subject to an additional excess.
Many insurers decline to pay the claim altogether if you exceed the radius.
Have you checked to see if your insurer has this twist to their wording?
Is the insurer you are using trying to limit your freedom to choose a radius limit for a premium discount?
The excess can be waived for a small fee for individual trips outside the radius, advised to us in advance.

Choice of Type of Cover

Transcorp offers you the choice of All Risks cover, or premium savings if you want a Nominated Perils cover (Basic Cover) or a Legal Defence cover.
Are you using an insurer who limits your freedom of choice?

Quality Cover and Flexible Options

Our covers have been designed to offer you the cover you need. We believe they are at the cutting edge of the market and better than many products on offer. One example is that for clients with up to 10 trucks we automatically cover Own Goods. We also have a wide selection of optional extensions available, so you can tailor the cover to your needs.
