Heavy Motor Insurance

This is available either as Comprehensive Cover or Liability Only (including Liability Only on Trailers). Cover is available for Owner Drivers as well as Fleets.

Fleets can be rated on standard Flat Rate cover, Unit Cost, Unit Cost Claims Experience Discount, Unit Cost Claims Experience Discount in Advance or Aggregate Excess. The fleet may include Plant & Machinery incidental to the operation of the fleet eg Forklifts, Loaders, Cranes etc and light vehicles incidental to the main heavy motor fleet eg utilities, sedans etc.

Dangerous Goods Liability cover is available for most Classes of goods, up to $10 Million Sum Insured. Higher limits can be arranged on request.

We insure Australia Wide, using an Australia Wide panel of Assessors to provide rapid, local claims service. The insured may choose their own competent repairer, though we only pay recovery costs to the nearest competent repairer, unless they call Transcorp Assist, in which case we will transport the truck From Anywhere To Anywhere.
